In many cities it is a pitiful and recurring reality to run into homeless animals. Some have been abandoned by their owners, others have been born in the streets. Homelessness does not only mean for them to be cold, hungry and exposed to the abuse of heartless humans. It also means facing the dangers of cars, diseases and the strength of larger animals. But happily there are people who prefer to open their homes and hearts to some of them rather than leave them to their (fragile) fate.
